Dearborn Motors Corporation, began in January, 1947 as the new distribution company for Ford Motor Company to handle the new 8N tractor, released in July 1947, and all the Dearborn Implements that were built to use with it. Around 1955, Dearborn was absorbed by Ford altogether under Ford Tractor & Implement Co. Dearborn Implement has been out of business for a few decades now and Ford Motor Co. has not built any tractors since the early 90's. There were/are a few businesses called 'Dearborn' -one makes plumbing supplies, one is a meat supplier, to name a few. Ford Motor Company has no affiliation with any of them.
