That one you pictured is a very early Dellinger built Ferguson saw with the single leg. I though you were asking about the double legs that were on the later Dearborn saws - my mistake. I think you can see how much your saw has in common with the
ferguson you pictured over the newer Dearborns, some of which are shown in the Manuals section. The single leg served the same purpose as the double legs, allowed the saw to sit up off the ground for storage and ease of hookup to the tractor, but did not influence the alignment during operation. Whether or not the tractor had position control, the saw is just lowered to the ground and the upper link yoke arms go into compression properly leveling the saw and setting the belt tension.
