Jack-
The worklight or implement lamp was introduced in 1949 lighting kits and made by Ford at their lamp factory in Flat Rock or by their approved vendor, CM Hall. Hall lamps are to print as the Ford except they carry the CM HALL diamond logo stamp near the light switch. Early (9N/2N/8N) kits suggested that one headlight be used for a worklight. I personally believe the worklight should be on the right fender so as to be accessable and more practical to use when hitching implements. The taillight was mounted on the left fender per state laws. If interested, I have several original and restored implement lamps for sale -look in ADS forum. HTH
