Take down the light assembly,
Cut an outlet box hole in the wall,
Assemble an outlet box that will fit behind the light assembly,
Fish down the supply wire to another outlet along the floor,
Attach a shorter power cord for the light assembly,
Coil up the power cord and keep in the back of your light assembly,
And then reattach your cool looking "above-your-head-lamps" and wow your friends and family!!
