I have bought two tractors with the Halls ruined - in one case just plain rusted out and with one broken lens out of two, and in the other case "farmerized" by removing the lenses and trashing them, then inserting homemade plywood rings cut with a jigsaw so that 12 volt sealed beams could be installed and gluing the whole mess together with something like black plastic roofing cement.
It's enough to break your heart, at least mine . . .
I have two sets of Halls that I have bought, plus some Hall parts from Don C and I have paid through the nose for everything. At least I made my purchases a couple of years ago before prices really got crazy. The set that sold at the Ruddock auction went for over $400.
