THANK YOU big time to Wayne IA. I went on line and looked at the video you told me about. As ( SOON ) as I saw the front of the engine in the video I remembered what was different about my engine. As I said in my plea for help I said there was( not) a big bolt head to put a wrench on but instead looked like a large screw driver slot. That is exactly what it is, I cleaned the slot out and put the biggest screw drive I own in there and gave it a little help with a pair of vice grips and it came right out. I now remember that when I first bought the tractor I was told the engine wasn't original it is an industrial engine out of a portable air compressor like they use to run jack hammers on construction sites. When the original engine went bad the p/o bought the air compressor for the engine, there was something that ran off the front of the engine and there wasn't room for the big bolt head so this is a special very large head screw. I will now be looking to see if I can find a large bolt to put back instead of the screw. THANKS AGAIN WAYNE IA, God Bless B&A.
