Anybody know if you can use the governor (internal assembly)from an 8n to a 2N, The 2N has a three arm set up and the 8N a two arm setup. I have new assemblies for the 8N governor (2)so my question is, is there any reason that the guts wouldn't work. I have slipped the new assembly from the 8N into the body on the 2n, seem to fit fine, functioned, and seemed good but I haven't been able to cross reference the two governors to see if the internal assembly would interchange. The 2N body governor is Model 9N-A and the 8N body governor is model marked just Novi, any help would be appreciated.
