Ditto on what the others have said. The box blade with scarifiers is the way to go. you can adjust the rippers where you need to be. Then, because the box has a double edge, take the scarifiers off and use it to back fill if you need to. I also use mine for dragging logs and maintain my gravel lane. I have also used it for ripping and leveling small garden and deer plots. I seldom use my back blade except for some light duty snow removal.
