I tried to adjust quadrant...with touch control lever only half way up, the rocker lever is already touching pump housing and there is not enough adjustment available. Tried to adjust position control spring and cannot close gap to less than a quarter inch from pad. The draft control link is bent slightly. Can this be why I cannot get control rod to contact pad on lift control arm? Can control spring being out of adjustment cause the quadrant to not adjust correctly? I opened system to replace the broken plunger inside control spring. I did replace worn pin on control spring assembly.Replace slightly bent control link and bent clevis pin? The main control spring assembly does seem to be crammed in pretty tightly. Lost In Adjustment !
