Not sure I can explain it better. It is just part of the casting of the differental housing. I think my problem is the fact that I have to adjust the quadrant forward as far as possible before the rocker lever touches the pump housing as it shows in the FO4 manual. If the quadrant didn't have to be to its forward limits I am pretty sure it would not hit when lowering the touch control lever. ps-the lift control arm is not bent. pps-lift does not lift even when the quadrant is all the way forward which is what I originally started working on.
