You're right. I know there several things I could do and will most likely do to fix it back up. I have been using my NAA for the last year or so after working on it a bunch and just let the 8N sit. Actually put a for sale sign on it one day and parked it out on the road for a few days. I don't know what made me go out and bring it back in.
You hit the mark on several things, carb, governor, rings. It's all familiar. I just need to get some things done and use it I guess.
