Wanted to say thanks for the help on this earlier question... Started with the carb, read everything i could find in the how to on the carb and dialed it in specifically the load adjustment screw. Helped a lot... Revs and loads without the choke... Still stutters a little, but the next step is timing.. (Gotta get a light).
Moral of the story.... Start with the adjustments, change one thing and test the result before tearing more apart and especially before opening your wallet...
