'44 was right around the time sealed beam headlights came out. The Tract-O-Lite headlight was made by Ford and thus replaced the earlier CM Hall style headlights. They used the winged medallions and backing plates. The cups didn't come out until mid-8N production. the original 9Nheadlight switch was on the dash, left side. Not sure where the 2N was installed but someone knows. Check Just8Ns for correct switch config.
