GUIDE was a light supplier to the industry at the time but not an approved vendor to Ford. Ford made lights at the Flat Rock Lamp Factory and also sanctioned the CM HALL LAMP CO. of Detroit to supply tractor lights. The early taillight was supplied by TAURUS who also made lights for the auto industry, mostly Chrysler. Ford tractors never came off the line with lights. Lighting kits were available from dealers as accessories. Dealers would sell whatever they had in stock.
