I have 2 Ford tractors, a 9N and an 8N, that both have the same issue. If I've run them wide open for awhile, they will not go down to a normal idle speed when I throttle them down. It must have something to do with the carb/governor linkage and how it is adjusted? Or? Can anyone shed any light on this subject and tell me what I need to do to correct the situation?
