I usually go to just8ns,but when your trying to get things done, well you know we try elsewhere because its handy.... before the trouble I have now, new carb, bowl, switch, plugs and wires, points etc... she started loosing power, bush hogging, like running out of gas, that's when I replaced sediment bowl, she ran a little bit,then started same symptems. I new the tank was old, had to clean bowl quite often, I put a new tank on, checked screen at inlet line, ok there. The arm on the governor is pretty loose, can you expand on governor issues that may tie into this.... and if so what steps should I take.
