Yes, you can also tell by the fender brackets as they, too, were different than the Ford brackets. Both used the TAURUS tallight. Ferguson worklight was just a headlight with a switch added. The Ford Implement Lamp didn't get released until '49. Early 9N lighting kits inluded both Left and Right fender brackets but only two headlights. If you wanted a worklight, you moved the right side back to the right fender. Early 9N charging systems were not adequate to keep a battery charged and running three lamps, two headlights at 32 CP and one taillight at 3 CP plus the ignition system was using every amp plus it could get.
