Hello everyone: On my 1946 2N the lower thrust bearing is sloppy in the axle. I know from working on machines that there should be no slop from bearing to housing but not sure on this. My question is should it be pressed in the axle knee or should it slide in easy. If it needs to be pressed in has any one ever had this problem and if so how did you fix it Aka shim stock, weld and grind to fit. If im not mistaken i need .0015 shim all the was around to hold it in place. Question 2: there should be a certain way it goes in and i didn't look when i they fell out dose anybody know the correct way it they in.
