Turns over won’t start

Hi I have a 1942 Ford 2N. It got worked seriously worked on in 2014. And ran fine until about a year ago. It was given to me recently. It needed a new 12v battery. It has been converted to 12v. I also replaced the spark plugs. And I cleaned the carb and even tried a after market carb. But all it does is turn over and won’t start. Fuels getting to the carb. I’m new to most of this so please understand
