The bad switch was NOS in Ford packaging with vinyl covered wires.

The ignition cuts out sometimes while running because the switch loses continuity.

A "key-on" warning light shows the problem.

It takes several swipes of the contacts to get continuity before starting.

I haven't used the tractor enough since refurbishing for it to be a priority, but switch replacement is definitely needed.
