I have found, repeatedly, that 'sitting for months' has not resulted in burned points, but rather corrosion that prevents good electrical contact even though metal to metal touching appears to be there. I take the easy route and run 120v ac thru them and that blows the corrosion away & they start right up, but.................not recommend for the average person, as if done wrong death may result. Just like with the ads on TV for most meds side effets!
