I can't speak Canadien... ; > ) [grin] (Listing is in Quebec, eh)
Usually these were used in areas like rice and cotton farms. I don't know how may rice and cotton farms there are in Canada, but seems a long way from home. Never a Ford Highland Park Factory item, as many companies cashed in on the popularity of the FORD N-Series Tractor, these were made by THE TRACTOR STILTS CO. INC of Omaha, Nebraska. They offered two versions -a 4 foot clearance model and a 6-1/2 foot clearance model. Extras include a case of Molson, a pound of back bacon, and an NHL hockey puck! It's a rare bargain even at Canadien dollars. Getting thru Customs at the US border would be a nightmare. They want paperwork for everything.
