Thanks but now I am confused. The spindle is the moving or rotating part and is on the bottom and the front-axle-knee (which holds the spindle) is stationary (and would be on top). That means that the open (moving) part of the bearing should go down toward the rotating spindle. Another person suggests that the open end of the bearing should be toward the top or the side toward the grease-fitting. This is the opposite.
