Do we really need to encrypt an image of our tractors or parts? I tested before I posted and it still holds true; when posting on the forum, pull the image using http instead of https.
I don't want to get in an argument; however, there is no need to encrypt all internet traffic. This was a Google mandate and since people didn't want their websites rankings decreased, everyone jumped on board. With the increased in computers and servers processing speed, it isn't that big of a deal to encrypt a photo of that cute little kitten but it really isn't needed. What is there for a middle man attack to steal in a photo of your dog chasing his tail?
And yes, I am in the business; I do server work on a daily basis.
