If the engine runs ok otherwise - makes decent power, has acceptable oil pressure, not much smoke or blow by I would do as Hokie suggests and just glue the one liner in with a product made for that.
An old timer once told me, "Jerry, you're not much of a mechanic. You're just a parts changer."
That chastisement has helped me a lot over the years.
Anyone can start throwing parts and money at an engine. A mechanic just fixes what needs fixing.
