There are detailed chapters on the 8N brake job in both the OEM 8N Owner/Operator's Manual and the CLYMER I&T FO-4 Manual. Also, did you get new tubes with the new tires? Using windshield wiper fluid for tire ballast is not a good idea. Most of it sold these days is water based and if any leaks onto your new rims, may cause cancer (rust) growth. It would be as bad as having Calcium Chloride in them. If you don't have a need for extra ballast, why bother? I use Rim Guard ® ™, slang trade name "Beet Juice" because it is made from sugar beets and will not cause rust. I'm a satisfied customer now for 25 years. FWIW & FYI, some folks take used anti-freeze for liquid ballast in their tires but that stuff can also be contaminated with water -it all gets mixed in a barrel so you don't know who had what in their vehicle. Just advising based on facts, not opinions. Got The ESSENTIAL MANUALS? They are the best tools you can invest in for your 8N.
