While waiting for your new MPC to arrive, you can download (it's FREE)the May, 1949 MPC we have here in our MANUALS. Note that there were 22 changes for the new 8N model but some remained the same. The front mount distributor, ballast resistor, Ammeter, and TSX-33 carb stayed the same. The 8N added a 4 Speed trans, POSITION CONTROL to the 3-pt; revamped electrical, air cleaner, steering, and a few other things. The MPC states what years part were used. Also, just because you have a 6V battery doesn't mean it is wired correctly for the 6V/POS GRN setup. Nice collection. I always wanted a '56 860. I am downsizing my farm implements and have some OEM Dearborn Equipment for sale. I also have 8N Toolkits, and CMHALL worklights, headlights, and TAURUS taillights restored and for sale. Email is open to discuss more if interested. You need Adobe to download stuff from MANUALS and HOW-TOW's. There is a LINK that will get you there and it also is free.
