After literally weeks (over a month!) applying penetrating fluid, propane weed-burner-torch, sledgehammer and air hammer, it finally freed up! :-)
Ford 8N tracctor has entered a new chapter in usefulness for what it can do, and what I can use it for. Yay! :-)
However, I'm wondering if anyone knows, if I have more "Heat-N-Beat" to go?
When the pin came out (under persuasion of air hammer & sledgehammer, whacking pin back and forth until it finally "surrendered" and came out), pin came out with a sort of "split collar" on it, as you can see in the photo below.
I'm suspicious, that it's going to be necessary to continue working with pin until collar slips off?
I know I'm going to have to weld pin's tip back onto the end, which broke off when working with sledgehammer, and to re-drill/straighten/true pin-end's hole for hitch pin, but I'm not so sure about collar that's on the pin?
