AS some of you know, I have been a participant here for a number of years.
While still practicing "Stay at Home" safety due to the virus, my grandson called me to let me know he moved my 52 "N", to put air in a tire. It lives on their place. He went to start it again, and, would not start. So, on the phone I gave him and his dad a few instructions. NO Luck. they had to pull it out of the way of garage doors. And it has been sitting for a couple of months while the virus did it's nasty things.
So, yesterday, I ventured out, looked at my poor tractor. Checked a couple of things, put a new battery in, and tried it. "Click". So, I replace the Solenoid with another one I had, 'Click". No luck. So, the very next thing I did was Pull the starter, sanded the area on the block, scraped it well, and put the starter back on. Got my grandson up in the seat, and said,,, Ok, bud, give her a try! "Bingo", fired right up.
So, you guys should be proud, I did listen to this form, and started with the MOST usual cause!
