HiYa Ron-
Did you replace all those parts all at once and was it like this before you did? Did you rebuild the OEM M/S carb or just buy an aftermarket unit? Never assume any new/aftermarket part is set to specs out of the box, they seldom are as China as no QC Department. Do you have the OEM Owner/Operators' Manual? There is some info in it on how to adjust the governor. The CLYMER/I&T FO-19 Manual also has good chapters on the carb, fuel system, and governor. The only gaskets on the M/S Carb are the two paper ones -one between the manifold and carb flange when mounted and the other between the two carb halves. The throttle shaft and choke shaft each have a rubber plug/seat and a felt packing dust washer -neither is designed to be air tight. Do you still have your OEM Marvel-Schebler carb? If so, I can rebuild it if you desire -my email is open.
