Thanks for the response Tim, The fuel line that came with the tractor was kinda beat up and I had to tighten it down at the inlet to the carb a few Timís whenever I put it back on To make it stop leaking there. I have a new one that I am going use once I get.the valve leak solved. The stem on the valve I took off and the new one are tapered at the end. The picture you attached is the same as the picture on Just 8Nís with a flat tip. The seat in the valve is beveled to mate with tapered tip on the new one. Right now I have the valve assembly threaded in with cured sealant. I donít see any gas around the bottom of tank. The fuel line and bowl are not installed. There is a little residual gas in the tank. Nothing is dripping, but you will get your fingers wet with gas if you feel around the hole in the middle of the screen. This is with the valve closed. I think I will connect the new fuel line to the valve, install the bowl, and put gas in the tank and see what happens...
