I do not disagree, Tim. I, too, have done it, albeit with my 860.

Slip scoops and box blades are two implements where a good hydraulic top link is very handy.

A good hydraulic top link avoids the necessity of constantly dismounting/mounting to readjust the top link to avoid loosing much of the dirt after filling while traveling to the place where it is to be dumped. But a good one is needed to assure that it stays in place while filling.
