Oil pressure is normally 27 PSI hot at idle. As the engine gets worn, pressure will register lower. Minus 10 PSI is getting bad, 5 PSI or less is dangerously low. Rebuilding the pump and changing the oil won't affect that much. When was the last time you tore down the engine for a rebuild? It's time again.
