OEM Grill linked by Tim on eBay looks to be in better shape than the one off Craigslist I've purchased (but the price was right).

Had same issue trying to figure out how to attach grill top on my 8N, as salvage grill came without pins. After reading various forums seeing solutions, opted to grind/drill/pin & bend custom spring-loaded pins securing grill top.

Whanging N banging, fabbing & customizing for fun influenced my decision, as various forums mentioned issues with OEM "spring loaded pins" not being one of Ford's "better ideas" and I wanted something cheap & reliable I didn't have to mess with.

Now if I could only get my grill straightened out enough where it would align with holes in the hood, I'd find out how well pin mod works lol :-) SNAFU
