Much better than it has been in a couple of years. It turns out that since I was hurrying the night before, I did not take the distributor off to put on the new rotor and cap. I just fitted them on in place.
For some reason, the rotor had a spot that would hit on the cap. I tried the new rotor with the old cap and it did the same thing. Long story short, i ended up putting my old rotor and cap back on, but with the new plugs. I turned it over and it fired the first time I tried it.
It is still picky about where the throttle is positioned for starting, which has not always been the case, but it does start 100 times easier! The new plugs made a much bigger difference than I have ever seen with any other motor.
