OK, you need a 12V battery, a 12V alternator, with the generator and cutout removed from the circuit. the OEM Ballast Resistor and OEM front mount distributor are still required. If you use a 6V coil you need to add an external in-line ceramic 1-OHM resistor. If you replace with a 12V coil no need to add the extra resistor. You can get all the Wiring Pictograms downloaded for free in our HOW-TO's forum under Electrical.
