The general rule of thumb for Ford Tractors is: cast iron = M-2822, Vermillion (red) enamel, and sheet metal = Ford Medium Grey, M-13243, and Black is Ford M-2824 , a semi-gloss enamel. Seat and spring, radiator, rad cap, steering wheel spokes, are black. Radiator shroud and fan blades are red. Starter and generator were red but black is OK too.
The TISCO brands come real close to the OEM. Use the IHC TP-110 for red; it comes closest to OEM Vermillion. TISCO sells other Ford Reds that are supposedly correct for the Hundred Series with more orange in them but I donít care for them personally. Check with JUST8Ns for their inventory if you canít find locally. CNH sells the Iron Gard brand and will be OK too. You can get it in Red, Med Grey, and Black. There are others too, Iím just saying what has worked best for me. Your tractor, paint it any colour you like.
For hat rims and wheel nuts I use the Case/IH Silver Argent wheel paint. For throttle and plate, gas tank, and acorn nut and washer I use Eastwood Silver Cad.
