I have a lower pivot pin leaking on a 1948 I am restoring. I have the Manuals and understand to remove the left (to check it) and still get to the right . Question is since I am working outside I was told by an old timer that since my left is tight I could just go thru the PTO shaft . Is that something that is doable ? It would save me the trouble of renting or borrowing a lift to take the housing off. Just wanted to know so I wasn't working extra for nothing !
