Hi Tim,
Yup, understood. Oil pressure at idle, currently about 475 rpm, is 40+, cold or hot, just slow to come up at initial start. Pressure is instant if only shut off for a break, lunch, or a nap (yes I do).
Oil and filter are fresh and 5 quarts installed. This was occurring before the oil change. Engine is strong and no knocking.
I have no idea when it was rebuilt. It is an aftermarket rebuilt that was in this tractor when I bought it 20 years ago.
