There are many folks out there that know way more about paint than I but I've painted a bunch of tractors and think that Any reputable brand of paint will look good and last well.
That said, I have never had lasting luck with Any rattle can paint.
It dulls quickly, peels and just isn't up to long term protection.
You state that you are going to brush paint the chassis.
Have you considered brush painting the tin work too?
I think you would be surprised at how well it turns out and know you would be happy with how long it lasts.
I brush painted these rims and centers 2 years ago and think the finish was at least as good as a rattle can and know for sure it is longer lasting.
A good China Bristle brush will cost you a dozen or twenty dollars but will pay off in the quality of the job. Thanks to Ed Gooding for the last photo.
