HiTa Kirk-
Do you have this Ferguson device? If so, is it installed or will you install it and let us know how it works. I always thought even with a Sherman you still were geared too high to work a tiller and needed the Howard Rotavator to work efficiently. Folks buy an N to work their small gardens with and think they automatically need a tiller. The N's are great little workhorses from small acreage gardens to 400 acre farms. You only need a 2-bottom plow, a 6' Disc Harrow, a 2-Row Spring Shank Cultivator, and a Spring Tooth Cultivator to work a field. Once the field has been plowed, disced, and worked every year, you only need to disc and cultivate once every year, or, every spring and every fall. Breaking virgin ground or a field that hasn't been worked in years is the toughest part.
