Yep, agreed, I'll touch the frame connection last next time. Jump starting isn't something I do more than once or twice a year, and then it's usually trying to start some neighbor's junk that hasn't seen any maintenance in years. All my batteries are on maintainers, so dead battery just doesn't happen until a battery is truly finished. When I see a maintainer flashing trouble, go check connections. If the battery is really gone, buy a new battery next trip to town, charge it, swap it and that tractor is ready to go again. It's been years since I went to start something and it just went clikkkkk. The battery maintainers may increase corrosion of terminals. Can't say for sure, it could just be the extra damp weather we've had for the last couple years. I bought a big tube of no-ox to see if that works any better than those useless green and red felt things.
