I have picked up new gas shut offs for the 600/601 for TSC. two leaked right out of the box and when you do get a good one they don't seem to last more then a year or two. Most places are buying for the same place so it's hard to say who has better quality. I never was a fan of how ford routed the gas line thru the manifold or what a pain it was to turn them on and off. Once I get a good one on I leave in turned on and reroute the line in front of engine and add a shut off that's easy to get to instead of under the tank. If the tank is bad I'll get an NAA tank or even the 600/601 aftermarket tanks come with dual hook ups so I'll use the side hook up that uses the same sediment bowl as the 8n and leave the one under the middle plugged.
