After letting it sit for a couple of months, I started my 54 NAA. I always leave the neg battery cable disconnected when it will sit for awhile. I started it and let it run for awhile and then shut it off. I pulled the key out of the ignition and went to disconnect the cable. Before I disconnected the cable, I pressed on the starter button and the engine cranked. Anyone know why the engine would crank with no key in the tractor? I did not see if it would actually start without the key, but it has me wondering "What the" is going on.
