MPC's/Parts Book, Price Lists -seems all the same, wording is relative. Maybe it was John Smith who coined the phrase for all of the parts books as Master Parts Catalogues. The JAN, '46 issue says "PARTS BOOK". The July, 1947 issue, this is the very first 8N parts book, has "Parts Catalogue". ALL of them list the parts in sequential order. You gettin' cornfused yet???? Wait till you get to the SEP '52 MPC. It only lists the 9N-1108-D Rim. then, scroll down and it lists "9N-1122-D Disc (rear wheel)- 32" x 7" - used with 9N-1108-F". Huh? The 7 x 32 rim was no longer supplied, but the center disc was??? Ya gotta remember that when a new part was released, the earlier prior versions were usually obsolete. Supplying early 32 rims probably went on for some time, but when the 9" x 28" hat rim became the standard, any and all previous versions were declared obsolete and disappeared, or as stated, "No Longer Serviced" in the part books.
