Dan -we do have the JAN 1946 MPC in our MANUALS forum, under PARTS. I will send you a pdf of my July, 1947 MPC. I need to copy my May, 1950 MPC soon as well. That is the important one with many 8N changes being listed -Proofmeter, Side Mount Dist; New genny, new Steering Box, and more.
On the 1108-A drawing, the 7" is shown as measured on the inside of rim. Randy, is the 1108-C Hat Rim shown at 8" on its drawing? Also, there has always been talk that the rims were zinc plated, cadmium plated, and even painted. The 9N-1108-A loop rim drawing has a note "PAINT - SEE SPECIFICATION". It's probable the spec says paint was optional. However, none of these would constitute a separate drawing revision to be issued. Also, and I know you haven’t gotten that far yet, but there seems to have been two early 32” center discs, p/n 9N-1122. Some have two sets of bolt patterns on them –see picture. The March, 1940 MPC lists the 9N-1122-D as the 32 x 8 center and the 9N-122-E as the 10 x 28 center. What were and what happened to the “A”, “B”, and “C” rev’s?
