Yep, seller may or may not had been trying to pass off a bogus item -we'll never know I guess. Any seller with scruples and knowledge of Ford & Dearborn parts would have deduced it to be fake in my opinion. It goes to show you that most sellers have no clue what they have. They don't even bother to attempt to do research on the part/item. Many just go by whatever someone else told them. "...well, my granddaddy had this Krinch-Meyer knob on his 9N so it must be original...". It only proves/emphasizes what I stated before, and that is that there only about a handful or so of good, honest, Ford Tractor part sellers on ebay. The Dearborn tag is obvious with the '14' part prefix clearly visible. The LH tag I can't read anything on it all by the poor fuzzy pictures he posted. The mis-alignment alone of the tags should have been a big clue. We learn new stuff everyday. Do your homework when buying anything.
