I can't answer that either Doug. I have several NOS brushes, all with the FORD script logo.

9N-10069-A; Brush/Wire/Tab Ass'y -used on the 9N-A generator, 2 rqd. MP35 marked.

9N-10069-B; Brush/Wire/Tab Ass'y -used on the 9N-B generator, 3 rqd. MP35 marked.

40-10043; Brush Kit. Contains 2, 40-10069 wafers and 1, 40-10070 wafer.

40-10069; Brush, used on the 9N-C and 2N generators, fixed. MP35 marked.

40-10070; Brush wafer, used on 9N-C and 2N gens, 3rd Brush, adjustable. E9 marked.

When the 8N-10000-B generator was released, it was now a larger barrel and armature and output at 20 amps. It used 2 new brushes, 01A-10069 and brush holders, 01A-10051.

I also have an empty OEM Ford package marked FAA-10069-A.

Note at least 3 different brushes have "MP35" on them. Thus, can't be mfg part numbers. The 9N-A and 9N-B generators used different brushes, yet both marked MP35. I'll delve deeper with the Model A guys and the early V8 Guys and get back. Ill try and post pictures of what I have soon too.
