Get out your Operator's Manual and review the chapter on setting the Drawbar Stay Bars and SAFTEY WARNING BADGE LOCKOUT. That keeps the 3-PT lift set at a certain height for pull-type implements. Since the 9N/2N were not equipped with a swinging drawbar clevis bracket, you cannot use the Dearborn Swinging Drawbar Setup as shown below, unless you install a specially made adapter plate to accept the 8N-802 clevis bracket. Red Rock Mfg -see LINK -repops the original Greene drawbar lock assembly which locks the 11-hole drawbar in place. Without the STAY BARS attached, your 3-pt will bob up and down when trailering a pull behind implement regardless if the 11-holer is locked out or not.

NOTE: Both setups use the OEM Ford STAY BARS. The Swinging Drawbar requires the 8N-802 Clevis Bracket. The VEE BAR does not.
