In our MANUALS forum you can get all of the original 9N/2N Master Parts Catalogs scanned and downloadable for free. They all have the hydraulic systems in detailed exploded views as well as their part numbers. Also, the I&T F-04 Manual has a chapter on the hydraulic systems and how to remove and repair them -see picture of a page below. In addition, there is a good DIY video on FORD 9N Hydraulic repair -search for J&D Productions, "Wrenching With Rachel". The 9N/2N systems are different than the 8N and NAA systems so be aware. ALL require a certain procedure to remove the top cover correctly. I highly recommend you get the DVD and watch it first so you understand the procedure. What is going on with yours and why do you think you need a new part? Unclear to which linkage you refer to. The 9N-640 Control Valve Assembly is available new. Most all of the wear components in the hydraulic system are available new today so if the pump base isn't cracked, you can rebuild them again. Dennis Carpenter & JUST8Ns are the best places to buy from. FYI: FORD TRACTOR has been out of business since the early 90's. Most all parts for them however are available from several aftermarket suppliers but it matters who and where you buy from. Even Case/New Holland sells the aftermarket parts nowadays -no part is made by FORD any longer. Carpenter is the only licensed by FORD supplier to repop some of the original parts and he owns a lot of the original tooling that Ford used. Tell us more about what your lift system is doing or not doing. We may be able to save you some money before going out and buying a part you don't need. It's best to first get the essential manuals and read up before doing any wrenching.
